Housing is not only a question of accommodation, but a right that is fundamental for social integration. In light of the latest wave of migration, it is therefore not merely a case of accommodation in shelters or reception centers, but much more about developing long perspective social housing strategies. 
Prof. Ralf Pasel and his chair CODE from TU Berlin are founding partners of the international university collaboration Home not Shelter! and have worked in the field of housing from the perspective of architecture and urban planning to meet the complex requirements of an increasingly diverse society.
